The vision of our Children’s Ministry is to bring children into a strong relationship with God by providing solid Biblical teaching and relationship building activities. Here’s how we strive to do that:
- On Sunday mornings, children from preschool through fifth grade are guided through a discipleship program that teaches them about God and serving others. For ages birth to three, we have a wonderful Nursery Staff to care for and love Jesus’ littlest lambs.
- On Wednesday nights, families can join us for Family Fellowship Night where we all come together for dinner and fellowship time. After dinner, the children meet up with their Crew Leaders for an awesome time of worship, Bible stories, crafts and games.
All of our programs will teach the children that through the toughest times, God is with His people, and they’ll learn to recognize how God is with them.

The goal of Cooks Hill Community Church’s Youth Program is to show kids the love of Christ and to help them build relationships - with Christ and each other - to strengthen them in their daily lives. We do this through special activities and events that bring kids together to “play” (such as lock-ins, hikes and other outdoor activities) to worship, to learn (with teaching that they can apply to their lives) and to find meaning (through short-term missions and serving opportunities). The program is headed up by a Youth Leadership Team – a committed group of adults and young adults that are also engaged in these activities alongside the kids. We desire that all kids should feel included and that they matter.
The Sunday Youth Service - 6th grade and up can join us in this service for worship and teaching on a more contemporary mode, paralleling the sermon topic in the main service, with a youth audience in mind. This is intended as an alternative to the main service. We join the main service on Communion Sundays (1st Sunday of the month), various “special event” Sundays, and any holiday Sundays.
Wednesday Nights - Got a GRIP? Through fun activities, lively discussions and FOOD kids will build the relationships with each other and with God to help deal with the pressures they face today. Our focus will be that they get a grip in their own lives while offering a hand to each other - with Jesus as their role model. Following the church family meal and a time of mingling, Middle and Senior High will separate to be challenged and encouraged.
