Pastor Dietz has been at CHCC since 1997. He and his wife DeLynne have three sons and a new daughter-in-law, and DeLynne teaches at Edison Elementary School in Centralia. Mitch first sensed God's call to full-time ministry at the age of 15.   Following graduation from Crown College near Minneapolis, MN, he pastored for more than six years in North Dakota and Montana before moving to Washington in 1991.

When asked about his goal for ministry, he says, "My calling is to cheer people on to the finish line that the Apostle Paul spoke of in Philippians 3:14 ".

He loves all sports, including golf, and enjoys music, playing the guitar, and "tinkering" with several other musical instruments.

Dani and her husband, Darin, relocated to Washington from Prescott Valley, Arizona in June of 2004.  They have two grown children, Jeremy and Teisha.  Dani and Darin attend Cooks Hill Community Church and feel blessed to be part of such a loving community.  They enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in all that the beautiful Northwest has to offer.  Dani worked for Cooks Hill Community Church as Secretary in 2005-06 and returned in Oct. 2007.

"It is such a blessing to be secretary here at Cooks Hill and I love being able to serve God in this capacity.”

Since 1997, my husband, Warren, and I have been blessed to call Cooks Hill Community Church home, not only for ourselves, but also for our two children, Eric and Chelan.  Upon moving to the State of Washington at the time of our marriage in 1982, we fell away from attending church.  But as so often happens, we re-examined this (or should I say, the Lord convicted us!) when our children were small.  Since walking through these doors we have experienced the life-changing effects of having a Spirit-led church family – fellowshipping, serving, worshiping, studying alongside other amazing Christians.

Elizabeth, her husband Wade and their two daughters, Kaitlyn and Bailey moved here in June 2005 and immediately began looking for a church.  A friend invited them to CHCC and they found so much more than a place to worship.

“Because of the loving family here at the church, we were able to find freedom in Christ.  Children and families are struggling so much in these troubled times.  It is my hope and prayer that through this ministry, we can share that love and freedom in Christ, strengthen the families in our community and show the children how perfect they are in their Father’s eyes.”

I have lived all my life in the Centralia area.  My parents, Les and Gertie Tupper, owned a dairy farm where the steam plant now sits.  We moved west of Chehalis to another farm when the steam plant was built.  I have seven brothers and sisters, 6 of which attended college.  I myself attended Centralia College and Saint Martin’s College where I received my degree in Education.

I am married to Ron Johnson and together we have four children.  Our oldest son Patrick and his wife Shawna have blessed us with a now two year old grandson, Logan, and have one more in the planning stages for next year.
