• Meek - enduring injury with patience and without resentment
1. Understand that a Christian can become successful in spite of failure because of God’s incredible grace and forgiveness.
2. Seek to use failures as lessons for growth and change.
3. What to do when you fail: • Acknowledge your failures and refuse to hide behind excuses. • Confess any sin to God when sin is involved in the failure. • Examine what happened so you can learn from the failure. • Put it behind you and move ahead (1 John 1:9 ; Phil. 3:13 ).
2 Corinthians 7:10 For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Psalm 51:16-17 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.
