![]() How’s Your Prayer Life? 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to “pray without ceasing”. So, how are we doing with that? Is prayer a task that we rush through to get on with our day? Or is it something we do only when we need help and need it now? We all have to answer these questions for ourselves. The question is, when you love someone, do you rush through your conversations with them? Or do you only speak to them when you need something from them? Most relationships won’t hold up under these situations. Relationships need to be nurtured. We need to stay in contact and spend time with those we love to keep the relationship strong. Our relationship with God is no different, but for some reason, we tend to think it is. ![]() Here’s another thought . . . We schedule all kinds of appointments each day. But, do we schedule time with God? He wants to hear from us. The Bible says He loves us with an everlasting love. This is both a fact and a promise. Perhaps it is time to rethink our prayer life with the One we love and the One Who loves us more than any other. He is waiting to hear from you. Blessings, Carolyn Vian |
